Tastes of Yorkshire 2013

We had a great time on Saturday as a year’s hard work and planning came off in brilliant sunshine at Tastes of Yorkshire Food & Drink Family Festival 2013.

The event was our second annual Tastes of Yorkshire, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day as the sun shone from 10:30am to 5pm.

Lots of great market stalls came along, making for an excellent day.

After the time our team spent planning and helping out at the event it was wonderful to receive the following email from one of our visitors early on Sunday morning:

Good Morning

I went for the first time yesterday to the festival with my 5 year old daughter.

I thought it was a fantastic event- showcasing some really interesting foods and drinks. The family area was great- from face painting to the bouncy castles – it was a massive hit.

The band and music was great and while I expected to be there for a couple of hours- we were there for 5!

Of course the weather helped but it was the organisation, events, stalls, activities and the spirit of the event that really shone through.

Congratulations and well done and thank you to you all for making a perfect summer Saturday for myself and my daughter.
