>A Supper Club
Enjoying different food experiences
Tastes of Yorkshire was originally started by my husband Andrew & me from our love of good food and wines and our wish to support the local economy.
From this we successfully ran the “Tastes of Yorkshire Food & Drink Festival” for several years at Ripon Racecourse.
Our personal highlight and honour was to host was the Chefs’ Demonstrations Theatre where the consultant chef from Rudding Park, Steph Moon compèred demonstrations by Adam Smith – Devonshire Arms, Prêt Tejura – Curry Cuisine, Kaushy Patel – Prashad, Robert Ramsdon – Deli Fresh, Paul Cunliffe – The Dunsforth, Lee Rushforth – The Deanery, Sara Danesin Medio – St John’s Dining Club & Florian Poiret – FP Macaroons.
I began to realise there were many like minded people and moved our thoughts onto changing the direction of the Tastes of Yorkshire into a foodie club where I would put together a calendar of dining experiences for members.
I hosted our first Pop Up Restaurant in the winter of 2015 with local young cook Charlotte Homan it was a great success with superb compliments and requests from those that couldn’t come for another to be held!
But I felt that there are so many different food experiences to have that the idea of a club where I could put my background of organising events – ‘Born Organised’ – with my love of food & socialising together!
I would like to invite you to join the Tastes of Yorkshire >A Supper Club where you can experience Fine Dining, An evening of Cheese from a local partisan cheesemonger, Wine & Ports from a local Vintner, Chefs Demonstrations, Pop Up Restaurants, An Audience with….. Lunches & Suppers, Vineyard & Brewery Tours and much much more.
We are adding events all the time.
